See that Kassius Ohno is still featured in the opening of NXT UK. Well I guess even to top that we are going to get a Deonna Purrazzo match to boat.

TONI STORM VS. DEONNA PURRAZZO – NXT UK WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2019

Nice chain wrestling to start the match.
I will never understand why WWE couldn’t find anything for Deonna Purrazzo as her in ring and character work is far bettr than a lot.
Nice touch to have Toni taunt Deonna in the same fashion Deonna did to her moments earlier.
Why would you shake the hand of someone who is taunting you with it?
Remember when Toni was a straight laced baby face?
Nice work on the submission transitions by Deonna Purrazzo.
Still weird to hear the “I want to know” chant for someone other than Bayley.
Why do so many use Shayna’s arm crusher spot nowadays? One of the least protected moves in WWE.
Great selling over the arm by Toni Storm.
Beautiful Rings of Saturn by Deonna Purrazzo.
Nice touch having Deonna hold the submission until the five count to show her frustraton.
Toni Storm is able to hit the Storm Zero to retain her championship in a very even match.

MATT RIDDLE VS. LIGERO – JULY 20, 2019

Riddle and Ligero are two styles I never thought I’d be interested to see mesh.
Ligero’s ring gear looks like he got it from his sisters closet.
Nice start with Ligero and Riddle going hold for hold.
Bit of a Goldberg chant from the Crowd to Riddle but at least with the case of Riddle it is not a taunt at Riddle but at Goldberg who isn’t even there.
Riddle was very obvious in his helping of Ligero on one of the flips as he was basically just lifting him and putting him a place and not looking like a legit flip.
As the match goes on the spots are becoming more obvious and a lot less crisp most likely because of the different styles not gelling fully.
Matt Riddle gets the win after a broton into the pinfall.

ISLA DAWN VS. SHAYNA BASZLER – NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2019

The Green gear is one of the most unfitting for a character in WWE, if you ask me.
Good thing this match was able to be edited as even with the editing you can tell these two are not the best at landing moves against each other at this point.
Great selling by Isla Dawn of the arm stomp by Baszler but it was the second time seeing it in this episode alone so just doesn’t have the same impact on me as it used to.
Wow these two got really slow at the end of the match as they couldn’t even run the ropes.
Nasty looking face first slam by Baszler on Isla Dawn.
Isla Dawn eventually taps out to the Kurifuta Clutch by Baszler.

Nice to get an actual promo to develop current storylines.
Love hearing Ilja talk without the contact lenses in distracting me.
Good job to put over the previous challengers to Walter while putting himself over at the same time.

A-KID VS. ILJA DRAGANOV – MARCH 6, 2020

Nice fast paced chain wrestling to start the match between the two.
What is it with some European wrestlers having those baggy style wrestling trunks? Just looks like they are wearing trunks too big for them.
Nice work early on putting over A-Kid’s skills without making Ilja look weak.
Nice job by A-Kid to grab the arm of Ilja when he was doing the taunt but seems to only have fired Ilja up.
A-Kid ran so fast to go to the other side of the ring it makes me think he screwed up at first forgetting which side of the ring he was supposed to go to.
Terrible spot with A-Kid not being able to get Ilja over the top rope.
Deadly looking clothesline by Draganov on A-Kid.
The Constatine Special is better than the 619, fight me.
Great series of kicks by A-Kid and Ilja near the end of the match.
Ilja sold the work on his arm and hand really well.
Nice Spanish Fly from A-Kid with the near falls got the fans on their feet.
Draganov hits the Torpedo Moscow to get the pinfall victory in a hard fought match that was good despite the missteps at points in the match.
Nice sign of respect after the match to keep both men strong in the end.
