SHAWN DEAN VS. COLT CABANA
Nice to see that they are continuing to bring in the same talent as from the GA tapings.
To spend all that time to fold the jacket only to just toss the shirt got a chuckle out of me.
Dean is having none of Colt’s games. Nice to see good character work from him showing he is still smart even if we don’t expect him to get the win.
That roll up by Colt seemed like it was set up a little awkward.
What a slap from Dean. A lot of aggression and great to show how smart he is when he goes right to Colt to get the advantage.
Nice to see that Colt gets real season when he starts to get a serious challenge from someone.
Colt gets the pinfall victory with the Superman Pin out of nowhere.
MIKE REED & RYAN REMBRANDT VS. JURASSIC EXPRESS (LUCHASAURUS & JUNGLE BOY) W/ MARKO STUNT
Why do I feel like Mike Reed is going to try and sell me something that I don’t want nor need.
Jurassic Express take it right to Reed and Rembrandt.
Nice way to highlight Jungle Boy’s flying skills at the start of the match.
Just realized that Mike Reed looks like Shawn Stasiak. Got Meat?
Surprised they let these guys get in this much offence in. They are doing a good job at not burying anyone in the booking.
I hate to say it but Luchasaurus missed a LOT of his kicks in a VERY noticeable way.
The finish was a really awkward one with Jungle Boy unsure what to do for a few seconds there but Lucha gets the pin after they hit the weird looking double team cutter.
LEE JOHNSON & MUSA VS. PRIVATE PARTY
How many people from Chicago are going to be on this episode of Dark?
Do Private Party know there is no one there to wave back to them?
People are taking Private Party seriously? What have they done since the Bucks? Since that is the only thing Tazz and Excalibur are talking about I’m going to say nothing.
A lot of spots even early on look more like planned spots than actual wrestling.
Great teamwork from Johnson & Musa that you don’t expect from the Job Squad.
Private Party just seem to be all show and almost no match building.
Did like the call back to Private Party hitting the move over the rope like Musa and Johnson hit earlier.
Not the most accurate Shooting Star Press but great air time. Private Party get the pinfall victory after it.
10 VS. JON CRUZ
Jon Cruz looks like he is the love child of Ciampa and Gargano.
Are they trying to put over that 10 is basically everything that Vince likes in WWE? Football player, the knee brace, the physique.
Not sure if 10’s Flatliner from the Ropes is meant to look that sloppy but alas that is what it looks like.
10s arm looked nasty. He is going to feel it tomorrow if he isn’t already feeling it.
Spinebuster by 10 leads to pinfall victory and Vince, I mean Brodie, coming out to applaud him.
ALAN ANGELS VS. REY FENIX
Great to see Rey Fenix back. Hope they are not in limbo because of PAC’s abscence. Good that they at least mention why PAC and Pentagon JR are both not there.
Really liking seeing Rey Fenix work solo as I know the guy can go but always have seen him in matches with his Brother or in multi man matches.
Rey spending too much time arguing over the two count but helps show he is still a heel.
Angels getting some impressive offence in against Fenix here. A VERY close two count for him on Fenix.
Nice little mention of Darby turning Tazz down on Dynamite.
Interesting sidewalk slam on the hardest part of the ring countering Rey Fenix.
ANOTHER close two count for Angels. They really want to make this guy become something down the road by the looks of it.
GREAT recovery from Fenix when he didn’t hold his balance on the top rope.
Fenix with the Pinfall Victory with an interesting finisher that looked like it would be a muscle buster but became a driving bomb.
DANI JODRYN VS. KRIS STATLANDER
Does Dani have her book with her for the match? Yup she does. Nice to see a lot of people coming from NWA and doing other things.
Nice that I actually know what the Binder is thanks to NWA Circle Squared.
Like that they are referencing the illness of Statlander when she fought Nyla Rose for the title to help build why she is still a top contender.
A lot of less than crisp moves on Dark today compared the previous weeks. Got used to a higher quality. Would be interested to know if this is the first time Dani and Kris have worked with eachother.
Dani has got some actual offence in on Statlander.
Dani Jordyn sold the running knees very well.
Big Bang Theory leads to the pinfall victory for Kris Statlander.
Liked that Statlander was confused why she couldn’t boop Aubrey’s nose.
JASON CADE VS. ORANGE CASSIDY W/ TRENT & CHUCK TAYLOR
Excalibur is not a huge fan of Jason Cade to put him down like that on commentary.
Great banners for Orange Cassidy that I don’t think my wife will let me put up in our room. Well she might let me put the one of his face up.
Great to see we are actually getting a real Orange Cassidy indie style match this week.
Oh YOU DO NOT throw the sunglasses of Orange Cassidy.
The angriest I have ever seen Orange Cassidy after Cade put his thumb down.

SKYLER MOORE VS. BRITT BAKER
Really? Tony think Britt is his best friend?
Great call back to Britt’s broken nose but also nice heel work to complain about a broken nail as well.
That kick from Britt Baker made me think she just earned a new patient it was so hard.
Has Britt Baker spent her Isolation times in a tanning bed? She looks like she got tanning tips from Ross Gellar.
How did Britt almost get upset when her shoulder was VERY much off the mat. More likely that Skyler was being pinned there.
Is Britt going to have to put the glove on for her lock jaw finisher from now on?
Britt gets the submission win with the move.
LUTHER VS. JIMMY HAVOC W/ KIP SABIAN & PENELOPE FORD – NO DQ MATCH
Too much Luther and not enough Penelope so far.
That has to hurt to punch a chair, any chair, full on like Luther did.
Luther pretty much just fall over on to Kip and Havoc but that is pretty much all he has to do to deal damage.
Jimmy Havoc may not need a dentist but he is definitely going to need a chiropractor after coming down on the chair.
I thought that was Penelope screaming it was so high pitched before realizing it was Luther.
What the hell has Tazz done to a Sparrow to know what they sound like screaming?
Good that the announcers didn’t sell it like Luther actually hit the chairs after the Frakensteiner off the top.
Match started to get a lot sloppier as it went on and had issues with setting up spots slowly.
If it is No DQ why did Penelope need to distract the referee?
Havoc gets the pinfall win after the interference.
