This was the first match for Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle on NXT.
The attempt at a moustache is one of Riddle’s worst choices ever.
That series by Mark Andrews that ended with he and Flash flying to the outside was great.
This match made me realize with the piped in crowd sound they’re using mixed with the live crowd, I don’t notice a difference in the story or the wrestling in the ring. I’m just as entertained as without them.
At the time, I knew Flash and Andrews had no chance of winning this but man do both teams look great in this one.

Jinny says that 2021 will give us a clean slate to write new words in them, which her assistant will do as it will be her year.
Dave Mastiff has a full white beard calling himself Banta Claus to go over the Christmas list of NXT UK Superstars as well as Triple H who wants flavoured water.

Looks like we are getting Christmas Messages from pretty much everyone. This time it’s people like Gallus, Ilja, Sid Scala and Rampage Brown.
JOE COFFEY VS. WALTER – NXT UK CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – NXT UK TAKEOVER BLACKPOOL II – JANUARY 12, 2020
Okay. THe fans chanting the Imperium/Walter theme is one thing you can’t do well with the piped in sound.
Can someone name me a bad Walter match in the last two years?
Not many in NXT UK that can handle Walter the way Joe Coffey is able to in this match. Rampage Brown may get to the point of being able to handle Walter this much, though.
Have to love Joe Coffey’s reaction to the no selling of Walter then his reaction to getting chopped down by Walter.
To be fair, Walter’s shoulders weren’t down for three seconds while being pinned by Coffey while the ref is down.
Forgot that Ilja Dragunov was responsible for the result in this match due to his interference.
Such a great match but would love to see Walter and Coffey go one on one with no interference.
A splash from Walter after he moved faster than I have ever seen him move but Coffey still kicks out at two.
Joe Coffey taps out to Walter after one of the best matches of the year allowing Walter to continue as NXT UK Champion.
