RING OF HONOR WRESTLING SOUNDOFF OF HONOUR – JANUARY 23, 2021

Ring Of Honor Weekly Episode 488 featuring the possible final ROH match for Dalton Castle.

We open the show with Shane Taylor promotions being informed that Mexi-squad has vacated the 6-man tag-team championships.
They are then informed they are the new Ring of Honor 6-man tag champions!
Shane Taylor explains they will not be accepting the championships suggesting doing so “isn’t the right way”. Is Shane Taylor promotions a baby-face stable now?

JOSH WOODS VS. DALTON CASTLE – PURE RULES MATCH
Josh Woods is out first looking super confident and is all smiles heading into this match-up.
Castle makes his way to the ring with little pomp and circumstance but talking a little trash like only he can.
Woods getting the better of the grappling and action early. Dalton not in any real jeopardy though.
Dalton Castle excellently takes a turn-buckle sternum first. Woods goes to work on Daltons body with strikes and an abdominal stretch. Dalton uses his first rope-break to escape.
The fight goes to the outside and Dalton with the help of the barricade and ring post is in control.
Woods gets Dalton all tied up in the ropes and hits a German-suplex with a bridge for a near-fall.
Dalton counters Woods and looks to hit the bang-a-rang. Woods escapes out the back-door and slaps on the “Woods-Lock”. Dalton immediately taps-out.
WINNER: JOSH WOODS (SUBMISSION)

THE FOUNDATION (JONATHAN GRESHAM, JAY LETHAL & TRACY WILLIAMS) VS. SHANE TAYLOR PROMOTIONS (SHANE TAYLOR, JASPER KAUN & MOSES MADDOX)- SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
I absolutely love the entrance and presentation of Shane Taylor promotions. They certainly suspend my disbelief.
Both teams adhere to the code of honor. Let’s get this one started!
Kaun gets the better of Lethal using his power advantage. Both teams make a tag for a fresh man.
Williams locks Taylor in a cross-arm breaker in the ropes which looked painful. Taylor answers with a huge-right hand.
Gresham and Moses are now the legal men. Moses hits a tackle, Gresham powders out and The Foundation is reeling.
Gresham hits a cross-body on Moses from the top-rope. It has no affect on Moses though and it’s as if Gresham hit a brick wall. Fun spot.
Kaun is back in there absolutely man-handing Jay Lethal hitting several power moves and gets a near-fall.
Shane Taylor hits a massive-package pile-driver on Gresham! Williams saves the match for The Foundation.
Jay Lethal gets caught looking for the Lethal Injection on Taylor. Taylor Picks Lethal out of the air and hits the Rikishi-driver for the pinfall victory!
WINNERS: SHANE TAYLOR PROMOTIONS (PINFALL)
