Pretty much Ricochet against everyone in this one while the three heels keep switching who is teaming up to beat on Ricochet.
Ali gets pulled out of the ring with Ricochet going to the outside and getting taken out. Ali loves it but doesn’t see Morrison who rolls him up to get the victory.
Since we no longer get those great Dave Sahadi PPV intros in TNA anymore, RIP, WWE is the top of the game at PPV intros.
KEVIN OWENS VS. SAMI ZAYN VS. KING CORBIN VS. JEY USO VS. CESARO VS. DANIEL BRYAN – WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH
Sami Zayn has lost his documentary crew as the referee is ejecting them right away once he is locked in his pod and can’t do anything about it.
Daniel Bryan and Cesaro are going to be the two starting the match.
Jey Uso seems to be the one all of them are wanting a piece of.
Does it sound like they have microphones set up inside the pods? Or is Kevin Owens just THAT loud?
First pod is opening without anyone eliminated yet and King Corbin has entered the match.
Jey Uso is just sitting down in his pound relaxing while Zami is all nervous and Kevin Owens is pacing wanting in.
Owens kept telling everyone to focus on the knee and giving instructions telling Corbin to stop what he is doing and try to submit him in the ring.
Still no eliminations and we are getting our next person in the ring which is Sami Zayn, much to the displeasure of Zayn. Sami is holding his pod shut to keep away from Corbin.
Bryan hits Corbin from behind into the pod and with Zayn celebrating he doesn’t realize the other side of the Pod opens and Cesaro enters.
Sami Zayn gets to be the guy who is first on top of a pod to get away. Every year. Every. Year.
Cesaro is sending Corbin swinging before locking in the sharpshooter to get Corbin to tap out and be first eliminated from the match.
Almost immediately, we get Kevin Owens entering and Sami Zayn stops him to convince him to team up only for Owens to take it right to Sami.
Kevin Owens hits a cannonball to Cesaro, Sami and Bryan and checks in with Jey Uso to ensure he is watching what he is doing.
All active four men are down in the ring after a signature move fest.
Jey Uso has finally entered the ring but Kevin Owens actually gets the next elimination on Sami. Uso and Owens are fighting at the entrance during the exiting of Zayn leading to Uso trapping Owens’ arm in the door and repeatedly kicking him.
Frogsplash from Uso and he gets the pinfall on Owens eliminating KO.
We are down to three with Jey Uso and the original two of Cesaro and Daniel Bryan.
Massive gutbuster by Cesaro on Daniel Bryan coming off the second turnbuckle before grabbing the bad leg and swinging with just it.
Uso hits Cesaro with a superkick out of nowhere and hits the frogsplash to get the elimination of Cesaro.
Another Frogsplash on Bryan this time but only a two count as Bryan kicks out before the three.
Jey Uso heads to the top of one of the pods to try another frogsplash but nothing but Daniel Bryan’s Knees.
Running knee from Daniel Bryan to get the pinfall to eliminate Jey Uso and win the match.
Post match, Roman Reigns’ music hits and it appears the match is next and not in the Main Event. Good swerve.
DANIEL BRYAN VS. ROMAN REIGNS W/ PAUL HEYMAN – WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Daniel Bryan counters the spear with a Yes Lock in the middle of the ring but Reigns pulls the arms apart of Bryan.
Reigns puts on his choke and gets the easy win via total knockout submission to retain in a quick match.
Post match, out of nowhere Edge spears Roman and stands over him pointing at the Mania sign. I guess we have our match.
Michael Cole said Edge spearing Roman made his intentions clear. If it didn’t, Edge pointing at the sign multiple times and having fireworks go off under the sign should have made it clear.
Miz shows up after Bad Bunny is talking about being on SNL leading to Bad Bunny slapping Miz and when Miz turns back Bad Bunny is standing behind Damian Priest.
MATT RIDDLE VS. JOHN MORRISON VS. BOBBY LASHLEY W/ MVP – WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Picked Keith Lee to win this match when Vince McMahon was still high on Keith Lee and now he is not even in the match. Great.
Morrison being smart staying out of Lashley’s way but Bobby takes offense to Morrison beating down Riddle after he had just been.
Riddle just over sold a suplex from Lashley on the floor. Like Shawn Michaels against Hulk Hogan over selling.
Great booking with Lashley just standing in the ring while Riddle and Morrison talk on the outside.
Lashley is back in the ring after recovering while Riddle and Morrison fought in the ring.
Starship Pain from Morrison after Riddle hits is Broton but Lashley kicked out. MVP trash talks Morrison leading to him getting out and taking the Crutch from MVP. No DQ’s.
Riddle takes out Lashley with the crutch and hits Bro Derek on Morrison to get the pinfall victory and become the new United States Champion.
SHAYNA BASZLER & NIA JAX VS. SASHA BANKS & BIANCA BELAIR – WWE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Why wouldn’t anyone mention how it must be a terrible move to agree to an interview while your opponents are in the ring only getting angrier by the second.
Reginald comes in to put over both Sasha and Bianca means Carmella is going to be involved with these two at some point.
Bianca has a guaranteed title shot at Wrestlemania and Sasha is a champion and Shayna & Nia already have a title match on NXT March 3rd, I wonder who will win this one?
Kiss of Death from Bianca Belair on Shayna but Jax is able to pll Bianca off to stop the pin.
When not even Nia’s own hole is safe in the ring with her, why would they let her in the ring with anyone they have plans for?
Reginald has come down to the ring and it makes Sasha more confident allowing her to get a Banks statement on but Jaz gets out.
Reginald throws the bottle to Sasha to use but she doesn’t want to use it and the distraction allows Nia to hit a Samoan Drop and to get the pinfall victory and retain.
Post match, Reginald is apologizing to Sasha and Bianca in the middle of the ring who are both pissed.
We see MVP talking to The Miz backstage who just happens to be showing off his Money in the Bank briefcase.
DREW MCINTYRE VS. RANDY ORTON VS. JEFF HARDY VS. KOFI KINGSTON VS. AJ STYLES W/ OMOS VS. SHEAMUS – WWE CHAMPIONSHIP ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH
Drew McIntyre is first out followed by AJ Styles who both were be in pods to start the match. Kofi is the third man out and in a pod with Sheamus last getting in the face of Drew McIntyre. They put over Sheamus won a gauntlet match to be the last man in the match.
Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton will be the first two to start the match. What’s the over/under for when Alexa Bliss or The Fiend arrive?
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at Kofi complimenting Randy Orton on his Quads.
No pinfalls and we have our first person to leave a pod and it is the champ, Drew McIntyre.
To be fair, Drew did tell the camera man to move but not like there were many places for him to go.
Time for the next man to be released and make it four men in the ring. Kofi is next in which means AJ will be next followed by Sheamus.
Upon coming in, Kingston rolls up Randy Orton and eliminates him before he RKO’s both Hardy and Kingston.
Styles tells Omos to rip off the wall so he can get in now. Adam Pearce comes down and ejects Omos from Ringside for interfering.
Why would the ref just not count the pins by AJ Styles until he is legit meant to enter the match?
Everyone is now official and SHeamus has entered the match to face down with Drew in the middle of the ring with the other three remaining laid out.
Finally got a tree of woe with four of the remaining five. Not sure where Kofi is. Never mind, there he is and now he just crowd drived on to the four.
Brogue Kick to Kofi Kingston and Sheamus gets the pinfall to eliminate Kofi and four remain.
They seem to be teaming up to try and take out Drew McIntyre. Hardy then concentrates on AJ Styles and gets a swanton but gets a claymore from Drew to get eliminated.
AJ Styles hits the Sheamus with a forearm after a Brogue Kick to Drew and AJ gets the pinfall to eliminate Sheamus.
Claymore from Drew to AJ out of nowhere leads to the champ retaining his championship in the Elimination Chamber.
Post match, Lashley attacks Drew after the Chamber has been raised. Let’s wait for Miz now.
Bobby Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock and slams him for us to hear Miz’s music hit and he comes running with a ref.
THE MIZ VS. DREW MCINTYRE – WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Miz has cashed in and they are trying to get McIntyre on his feet.
Bell rings and McIntyre kicks out the first time but after a skull crushing finale, Miz gets the pinfall and has become the new WWE Champion. Shocked he was successful.
