How many people in the intro to 205 Live actually have appeared on the show in the last 6 months?
THE BOLLYWOOD BOYZ (SUNIL & SAMIR SINGH) VS. CURT STALLION & MANSOOR
Ever-Rise are on commentary for this one. At least Matt Martel doesn’t have as thick of an accent as Stu Grayson.
It really says something about the predictability of the match making on 205 Live when I don’t have to see the announced card to know who would be in this one.
How offensive of Vic Joseph to say that Ever-Rise smell like Poutine. First, smelling like Poutine is a compliment. Second, eating Poutine doesn’t make you smell like it.
Curt Stallion staying on the outside waiting for that hot tag. Mansoor refuses to tag because he is getting cocky in his abilities.
Mansoor finally got close enough to the corner for Stallion to get the blind tag in and gets the pinfall after a headbutt.
MATCH TIME: 6:25
Post match, Mansoor and Stallion share a stare over the result with Mansoor not happy he didn’t get the pin.
We see the clip from NXT of Jordan Devlin letting us know he is on his way back to the USA to prove who the real Cruiserweight Champion is.
ARIYA DAIVARI VS. AUGUST GREY
Tony Nese and Jake Atlas are banned from ringside which makes me expect one or both will be showing up at some point in some fashion.
Starting to see Grey sell his knee after landing on the outside, we will see if Daivari focuses on it now.
Inside Cradle from Grey but couldn’t set it properly enough to even get a one count.
We’re still calling it the Unprettier in WWE for now, we will see if they change it to something else with Christian now in AEW.
So they’re calling August Grey “Retro” now, is that new or have I just missed the previous times they used that?
10 minutes in and still no Nese or Atlas so we may get a clean finish or at least one without outside interference.
How weird was the catch by Grey as Daivari hit the frog splash? Just didn’t look like the usual way one braces for the Frog Splash.
Daivari gets pissed at the ref not counting the pin when he is blatantly holding the middle rope. He turns around into a superkick from Grey.
Grey ends up getting the pinfall victory but using his feet on the ropes to take a play out of Daivari’s playbook.
MATCH TIME: 13:35
Post match, Daivari is shocked he lost to Grey cheating. Not a fan when announcers are fine with faces cheating.
