We are opening with a video promo from Eric Young on Tommy Dreamer to push their team warfare match.
ACE AUSTIN & MADMAN FULTON VS. JOSH ALEXANDER & PETEY WILLIAMS VS. TJP & FALLAH BAHH – THREE WAY TAG TEAM MATCH
Madman Fulton’s gear is way too colourful for his character.
Being married to a Filipino and having lived in the Philippines, I laughed VERY hard at them bringing their broom out.
I just marked out for Petey Williams as an old school TNA fan and as a Canadian.
TJP and Petey Williams in the ring is everything every Impact fan of old and new should want to see at all times.
Great to hear D’Lo Brown explain the lack of hooking to leg by saying not all pins are for the win but to gauge your opponent.
Ace Austin, TJP and Petey Williams all represent different generations of the X Division and I love it.
That helicopter leg drop from Ace Austin is a beautiful thing when hit perfectly.
Nice spot with Alexander blind tagging TJP before the mamba splash on Austin but Alexander only gets the two count.
Sharpshooter from Petey Williams and then Alexander locks on the Ankle lock on Fulton before everyone gets involved leading to Fallah clearing the ring.
Fulton chokeslamming Petey and Alexander while TJP is choking him out was a sweet spot.
Canadian Destroyer from Petey on TJP before trying to do it to Fallah Bahh to no avail but Alexander tags in and gets the submission victory with his ankle lock.
SHERA VS. HERNANDEZ – CHAIRLY LEGAL MATCH
Starting off with a showing off of both men’s strength by the classic trying to knock the other down coming off the ropes.
Doing a good job of using the chair logically in this one without going overboard.
Weird that D’Lo and Striker seemed uneasy over the kick to the back of the thigh by Hernandez saying it hurts when someone does that. Isn’t that what every move in wrestling is meant to do?
We have the obligatory eventual chair pile in the middle of the ring with Hernandez getting superplexed on to them.
Rohit comes out of no where to hit Hernandez with a chair and Shera gets the pinfall victory after Rohit tells him to pin him.
Post match, Rohit Raju making peace with Shera showing how they can benefit each other and Shera is for it.
Swingers Palace with Storm and Sabin being said they had to take the night off but XXXL come in and we get a drinking game match.
Matt Cardona has now watched in with Swinger telling him they don’t take figures as bets when Tommy walks in to say Match time.
Swinger and Cardona in a Crate American Bash match.
DOC GALLOWS W/ KARL ANDERSON VS. BLACK TAURUS W/ ROSEMARY & CRAZZY STEVE
Going to be interesting to see if they make this a typical big man match or incorporate the speed and lucha style of Taurus.
We’ve headed to the outside and they are not really counting them out to start which is fine since it is Hardcore Justice. My issue is they just don’t do that for all matches and state it.
This is definitely a much more brawling big man style than anything we’ve seen Taurus do in Impact so far.
Finally seeing some speed from Taurus now that he has taken control of the match leading to Karl Anderson getting on the apron to cause a distraction.
Gallows hits a big kick then a sit out powerbomb to get the pinfall victory. Nice looking Sitout Powerbomb.
Video promo from all of Violent by Design to once again push the match against Willie Mack, Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards and Tommy Dreamer tonight.
JOHNNY SWINGER VS. MATT CARDONA – CRATE AMERICAN BASH MATCH
Match is that their are boxes on each ring post and if you open the box you can use what is inside. This is more Russo than ECW.
Loving all the stuff with Swinger trying every trick in the book of Old School heel tactics.
Swinger gets pissed at Cardona for doing the strut that Swinger had just done saying it is gimmick infringement.
The over acting by Swinger when Brandon Tolle confronts him that it is not even a parody but an exact replica of what they did in the 80s that make old school wrestling so bad at times.
We get the first item out and it is a picture of 2x WWE Hall of Famer, Scott Hall.
Anyone else hearing Brad Pitt yelling “What’s in the Box?” in their head throughout this match?
There is a rat trap in the second box and it is now stuck on the hand of Swinger.
Cardona sees what is in the third box but puts the lid back in while Swinger gets brass knucks out of the fourth box but doesn’t get to use it as Cardona hits Rough Ryder to get the pinfall victory.
Post match, Cardona takes the third box to the back without revealing what is in it. Making me think there is a title shot in it.
Back to Swingers Palace to see the Drinking Game still going on with Larry D not sure how much longer he can go.
Sami Callihan is making his way to the ring and asks for a microphone. He wants to let us know that he only wants the best for others and isn’t a bad guy.
Sami says he is here to teach Trey Miguel another lesson. Sami wants to be on Hardcore Justice so he is going to be and is issuing an open challenge.
SAMI CALLIHAN VS. SAM BEALE – OPEN CHALLENGE MATCH
Sam Beale is coming out to accept the challenge. This is the guy that Sami brought from Trey’s Wrestling School.
Sami is getting a lot of enjoyment out of bending back the fingers of Beale before biting Beale’s hand.
Beale barely gets back in the ring just before ten and Sami just applauds sarcastically before going to finish him but Beale rolls him up to get two pin attempts in but that’s it.
Sami is done playing and hits the package piledriver to get the relatively easy pinfall victory.
Video promo from Brian Myers talking about his history so far with Cardona in Impact and how Jake Something became part of it leading to tonight’s match.
BRIAN MYERS VS. JAKE SOMETHING – HARDCORE BLINDFOLD MATCH
Great to have a commentator who has participated in a match type especially when that match type is not overly done.
Was actually surprised that Brian Myers didn’t go for the typical heel cheap shot before putting his hood on.
Really liked that they brought up that this is the first Blindfold match without a crowd to help the face know where their opponent is.
Loved Myers hooking the leg for the cover even when Jake Something was on his stomach. Small things can be highly entertaining.
Referee gets sent into Jake Something allowing Myers to take off his mask in order get a cheap shot in.
Cardona comes out now and he has the crate from earlier tonight and slides it to Jake Something and uses it to get the pinfall victory. The crate was just full of figures.
Tommy Dreamer is now cutting a promo with Eddie, Swann and Mack about their match tonight against Violent By Design.
Rich Swann says that Rebellion is meant to be the biggest match of his career but when Tommy asked for a friend he was ready to go to war with him.
ROSEMARY VS. ALISHA VS. SU YUNG VS. JORDYNNE GRACE VS. HAVOK VS. TENILLE DASHWOOD W/ KALEB WITH A K – KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER 1 CONTENDER WEAPONS MATCH
Su Yung’s music hits after Susan is already out on the ramp and Su Yung actually comes out to take out Susan. Really love how they handle her changes between Susie, Susan and Su Yung.
Love the reaction of Rosemary and Havok more than the others at Su Yung.
Su Yung appears to have new gear with her return this time.
Rosemary and Havok try to get Su Yung on their side to make friends but Su Yung does what Su Yung does and takes on both.
Alisha stapled Tenille’s butt and she sells it until she realizes she is being surronded by the rest but Kaleb with the K gets in and tries to fight them off but gets destroyed by everyone.
So great when Su Yung is allowed to be Su Yung in the ring and we are reminded how great she really is.
Here come the thumbtacks as Rosemary have a bag that we all know so well. She spreads them out on the ringside mat.
Alisha ends up hitting the move on Rosemary but definitely looks like it hurt both.
Alisha gets a Kendo Stick but no match for the Mandible Claw as Su Yung ends up taking Alisha out of the arena.
Nevaeh just came out and Fuji’d Havok allowing Jordynne Grace to take advantage until Kaleb pulls Grace out and Superkicks her allowing Tenille Dashwood to get the pinfall victory.
Back to Swinger’s Palace and they are all hammered as they try to start doing beer pong with Acey going first and actually got closer than I figured he would.
Things have broken down and we have a Swingers Palace Brawl with Storm and Sabin making easy work of XXXL.
JAZZ VS. DEONNA PURRAZZO – KNOCKOUTS CHAMPIONSHIP VS. JAZZ’S CAREER OLD SCHOOL RULES MATCH
Great to hear the NWA Women’s Championship get named at the beginning of this one even if Jazz’s reign ended on a sour note.
Nice spot with Deonna Purrazzo using Jazz’s own limbs to tie her in the bottom rope before dropkicking her out of the ring.
Really doing a great job so far putting over Deonna with Jazz selling so well for her.
Liked that Deonna went to use the Championship Belt to humiliate Jazz but wasn’t able to hit it.
Great work from Brandon Tolle to make that pinfall after the DDT to the chair by Jazz to look as close as possible to a three.
Queen’s Gambit Piledriver from Deonna Purrazzo and she gets the pinfall victory to retain and to retire Jazz.
Post match, they show a close up on Jazz before Jordynne Grace comes running down for a hug. Does Grace turn heel right here? Nope just has an emotional goodbye and holds her arm up.
VIOLENT BY DESIGN (ERIC YOUNG, JOE DOERING, RHINO & DEANER) VS. EDDIE EDWARDS, RICH SWANN, WILLIE MACK & ??? – HARDCORE WAR
This is War Games rules but just no Cage. Stagger entrants and such. We then get thrown to Tommy Dreamer in the back attacked who is no longer cleared to wrestle.
Eddie Edwards and Deaner are going to be the first two starting off the match. Who do we think is going to be the Tommy replacement?
Violent By Design have the advantage as the next one out is Rhino.
Anyone else want to see us forget about the Call Your Shot Trophy and have Kenny win the Impact title and after he defends the AEW title on Dynamite or an AEW PPV have Violent By Design come out and attack Kenny and have Eric Young use it for his shot at the Impact Title then?
Willie Mack is coming out next with his chain and with Kenny, Eddie’s Kendo Stick.
Joe Doering is coming out next for Violent By Design leaving EY to be the last out for them.
They’re finding a lot of interesting ways to use a toaster in this match.
Here comes the Impact Unified World Champion meaning either Tommy Dreamer or a mystery person to come out after EY comes out next.
Rich Swann does his best Bully Ray impersonation telling Eddie Edwards to get the table which they set up just before EY makes his way out with a hockey stick.
Love that EY breaks the hockey stick just as Matt Striker is about to say they are designed not to break.
Here is the clock and that means we will see who it is and it’s Trey Miguel who comes out on fire to take on three members of Violent by Design before coming face to face with Doering.
The running crossbody by Doering on Trey Miguel made all the air come out of my lungs it was so vicious.
Joe Doering just single handily did the Tree of Woe on four other people.
Beautiful Mediora from Trey Miguel on to Doering sending Doering through Eddie and a Table at ringside.
Piledriver by Eric Young to Willie Mack gets the pinfall victory for their team.
