AEW AEW Rampage Soundoff

Did you enjoy Trent Seven’s AEW Debut?

Last night, during AEW’s weekly episode of Rampage on TNT, we saw Orange Cassidy challenge an opponent of Kip Sabian’s choosing. In doing so, Kip went to his British roots to bring in a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion, NXT Tag Team Champion, and of course PROGRESS Tag Team Champion, in one-half of Mustache Mountain and one-third of British Strong Style… Trent Seven. For those unfamiliar with the British Wrestling Scene, Seven is the man who trained the inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion, Tyler Bate who was his partner in Mustache Mountain. The two of them were also two-thirds of the stable British Strong Style which also consisted of Pete Dunne (known now as Butch). The crowd reaction from the AEW crowd to his debut was actually a little surprising as we expected the smart AEW crowd to give him a MUCH bigger welcome to the promotion. In the end, Seven did lose to Cassidy as expected but showed some remorse towards Sabian beating down Cassidy post-match before joining in. This led to Dustin Rhodes coming down for the save and likely a tag team match on Rampage next week. But with all the said and done, what did you think of the debut of Trent Seven in AEW?

Are you like us and big fans of the British Wrestling Scene and was very excited to see Trent Seven debut for AEW and hopefully get a nice push as part of it?

Do you feel that this is just another example of another former WWE guy coming in and taking the spot of someone already on the roster?

Do you just want to see Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate join Seven in AEW so we can get some good British Strong Style in AEW instead of whatever it is that “Butch” is doing in WWE?

Are you just going to be surprised of we ever see Trent Seven on anything but Dark and Dark Elevation from this point on?

What did you think of last night’s episode of AEW Rampage? How bad is Big Bill as a wrestler’s name? How good was the opener between Mox and Takeshita? Do Dalton Castle and The Boys come out today as the Six-Man Champs?
